Add options and combination prices

Offer sizes, proteins and extras with an added price, or set an exact price for each combination.

Options let customers customize a product: pick a size or a protein, or add extras. You set them up inside each product, on the Options and Combinations tabs.

Where to find it
  1. Products
  2. Edit product
  3. Options

Create an option group

  1. Open the product and go to Options
  2. Tap Add group
  3. Enter the Group name

For example, Choose your protein. This is what your customer sees.

  4. Choose the Selection type
  5. Add the options

With Add option, enter each name and its Additional price. Use 0 if it's included.

  6. Tap Save changes

Selection types

  • One required option: the customer picks exactly one, like a size or how the meat is cooked.
  • Multiple options: checkboxes. You set the Minimum selections and Maximum selections; with a minimum of 0, the group is optional.
  • Options with quantities: the customer adds units of each option, say two garlic sauces and one pineapple, up to the group's maximum.

Customers see each group marked “Required” or “Optional”, and each option with its additional price, for example “+ COP 2,000”. In one-required-option groups, options that don't change the price say “Included”. If options change the price, the menu shows “From” and the lowest possible price.

To pause a single option, turn off its Active switch: customers still see it but can't choose it.

Combination prices

Sometimes a price isn't a simple sum: a large coffee with almond milk costs whatever you decide. That's what the Combinations tab is for, and it works with One required option groups.

  1. Go to Combinations
  2. Pick one option from each group

    Under Add or update combination.

  3. Enter the Total combination price and tap Add price

If you pick the same options again, that row's price is updated.

  4. Repeat for each combination and tap Save changes

Each row replaces the base price and the price of those options; extras from other groups are added on top. In the product list, the price shows Based on combination.

Frequently asked questions

It won't let me remove an option or a group.

It has combination prices. Delete those rows in Combinations first, then remove the option or group.

My dish costs 0 and is built from options. Does that work?

Yes. The menu shows it as “Your choice” and the price comes from what the customer picks; they must choose at least one option that has a price.

Can I copy option groups from one product to another?

No. Each product has its own groups, so you create them in each one.

How many options can I add?

Up to 20 groups per product and 100 options per group.
